DESCRIPTION

 

This 10 hour distance learning course describes the case management approach to addiction treatment. Knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for case managers in substance abuse treatment are described. The application of case management in a community context is discussed. The evaluation and quality assurance for case management activities is explained. Case management for clients with special needs is defined and funding sources are identified.
